Role:

We are looking for a professional authentic South Indian chef with expertise working in a South Indian-style kitchen. Especially those who can prepare authentic Mughlai cuisine and common South Indian dishes using locally sourced ingredients and time-honoured cooking techniques. Sophisticated marinades, scattered stock, herbs, spice blends, and ingredient amalgamations crafted by our executive chef will be anticipated from you.

In addition to our standard recipes, you will be part of the planning of seasonal delicacies and cuisines. Additional responsibilities include managing food waste, frequently ordering supplies, executing quality checks, and adopting and guaranteeing compliance with cleanliness and health and safety regulations. In addition to controlling and keeping an eye on food temperatures.

Responsibilities:

  • Be able to display high levels of creativity and expertise when making and cooking Regional South Indian cuisine or breakfast foods
  • Proficiency in the production of exceptional marinades, South Indian curry bases, and spice amalgamations
  • Relevant prior experience at the necessary degree of expertise
  • Able to accept accountability
  • Innovative and fervent in their love of Curry dishes and distinct South Indian cuisine
  • Outstanding English communication abilities
  • Maintain the highest professional standards for food quality, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen, along with good personal hygiene
  • A diligent, self-assured individual with the ability to work under pressure while retaining agility and composure
